Saturday, April 27th 10am-2pm Tacoma Community College, LOT A

Pierce County Sustainable Resources and Ride Together Pierce, Pierce County’s sustainable transportation resource program.

On behalf of Pierce County Sustainable Resources and Ride Together Pierce, Pierce County’s sustainable transportation resource program we are thrilled to be hosting the 13th Annual Bike Swap, on Saturday, April 27th from 10 am to 2 pm at Tacoma Community College, in Lot A (important change from prior years, link to campus map available here). We’d like to thank everyone who helped make last year so successful and formally extend an invitation to join us once again.

The Pierce County Bike Swap will bring the bicycling community together to buy/sell bikes and bike parts, teach young ones how to ride, discuss best cycling routes, and more. You can find a more detailed description on the Facebook event page. Feel free to share the FB event page and help us spread the word! Last year’s event saw about 700 attendees across 4 hours. This year, we are hoping to grow even bigger, but we can’t do it without you! We will need vendors to fill up our space and make the Bike Swap happen. Additionally, since we want this event to be as inclusive to our Pierce County community as possible, we strongly encourage those who are multilingual to join us at the event. Come promote your cycling club, organization, or bike shop, sell bikes and cycling gear, and stay a while to enjoy the various bike related activities and grab some lunch at the food trucks! Register for free here:

It is extra important to note that we have changed our location this year. While last year’s Bike Swap was held at the University of Puget Sound, this year’s will be at Tacoma community College in Lot A. Vendor parking will be available in Lot N between lot A and the track. Set up will begin at 7AM the day of the event. Additionally, we are asking that vendors provide their own tables if they are able to as we are limited in the number we can provide. While we do have some tables available, they are limited in number and vendors who do not request a table prior to the registration deadline on April 17th will not be provided one.

Keep on cycling!
